Click speed test
Choose a length and click the pad as fast as you can. The timer starts with your first click, and your clicks per second appear when it stops.
Each click, tap, or press of Space or Enter on this pad counts once. Holding a key down does not repeat.

How CPS is counted
CPS is the number of clicks inside the time window divided by its length in seconds, so 64 clicks in 10 seconds is 6.4 CPS. A press of the main mouse button, a finger tap, or a press of Space or Enter on the focused pad counts once; holding a key down does not repeat. The bars show how many clicks landed in each second, which reveals whether you started fast and faded. The peak is the most clicks inside any one-second window, and the fastest gap is the shortest time between two clicks.
Techniques and fair play
Most people click with one finger and tense the forearm slightly to go faster. Jitter clicking uses a fast muscle tremor, and butterfly clicking alternates two fingers on one button, which can register more presses than either finger could alone. Go easy: hard clicking for long stretches is tiring and can strain your hand and wrist, so stop if anything aches. Many game servers ban auto-clickers and macros, and some treat butterfly clicking or very high click rates as cheating, so check the rules before you use these techniques online.
Questions
What is a good CPS?
There is no official scale. As a rough guide, steady one-finger clicking often lands somewhere around 5 to 8 CPS, while jitter and butterfly clickers can go well past that in short bursts. Compare your own results over the same length of test.
Why is my 30-second score lower than my 5-second one?
Fatigue. Most people slow down after the first few seconds, which the per-second bars show clearly. Short tests reward a burst; long ones reward stamina.
Does right-clicking count?
No. Only the main button counts (or a tap on a touchscreen), so an accidental right-click does not inflate the total. The right-click menu is blocked on the pad so it cannot interrupt a test.
